Behringer DCX2496

The following describes my setup of the DCX2496.

EQ Settings Set 1: These are variable settings for Baffle Step Correction and the High Frequency Compensation(Toole Curve).

EQ Settings Set 2: Non-variable settings

Input/Outputs:
  • Input A - Front Left
  • Input B - Front Center
  • Input C - Front Right
  • Output 1 - Front Left Sub (will be used in the near future)
  • Output 2 - Front Left Main
  • Output 3 - Front Center Sub (will not be used)
  • Output 4 - Front Center Main
  • Output 5 - Front Right Sub (will be used in the near future)
  • Output 6 - Front Right Main
Steps taken:
  • Set "Out Configuration" to "LH LH LH"
  • Set "In Stereo Link" to "A+B+C"
  • Confirmed routing for Input A -> Output 1 and 2, Input B -> Output 3 and 4, Input C -> Output 5 and 6
  • Clicked on Input A : EQ and added Set 1 settings
  • Confirmed these were copied to Inputs B and C
  • Clicked on Output 2 : EQ and added Set 2 settings
  • Clicked on Output 4 : EQ and added Set 2 settings
  • Clicked on Output 6 : EQ and added Set 2 settings
  • Changed X-Over to 86 Hz for Outputs 1,3,5 (outputs not used at this point)
  • Changed X-Over to Off for Outputs 2,4,6 (until subs are hooked up)
